Clevenger after leaving commercial banking started his career in public accounting in 1979 by joining the firm of Clark E. Loofbourrow & Associates in Columbus, Ohio. He became a partner in 1985 and the firm became known as Clevenger-Loofbourrow & Associates, a firm with six CPAs and four associates. He continued the firm after the founding partner's death until 1996 when he found that big was not always better and started in a new direction as a sole practitioner.  Mike strives to develop a relationship with each client built on trust and by delivering timely advice based on his 30 years of practice in public accounting.
